Joe Kelly to Meet with Fans in Corona

Joe Kelly is coming home to Corona after signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers in December.

On Wednesday, January 16, Kelly will meet with fans and sign autographs from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Council Chambers at Corona City Hall, located at 400 S. Vicentia Ave.

Refreshments will be served.

Kelly is a graduate of Corona High School, and attended college at nearby UC Riverside.

In a news release, Corona Mayor Jason Scott had this to say,

It isn’t every day that a local talent makes the big leagues. We are incredibly proud and excited for the opportunity to welcome a hometown hero.

The 30 year-old Joe Kelly is coming off a 5 year career with the Boston Red Sox that resulted in a World Series championship — over the Dodgers, incidentally — in 2018.
